Lesson 1: Introduction to Educational Technology

            In the first lesson of our subject Educational Technology 1, I've learned the meaning of "Educational Technology". My prior knowledge about Educational Technology is that it refers to the modern technology used in educating learners. However, through this lesson, I have been enlightened that Educational Technology includes not only the new educational inventions but also the old ones that are used to satisfy our human need to learn. These inventions and discoveries can be tools, devices, activities, procedure and processes which include various educational media. Furthermore, I have known that Educational Technology is concerned with the practice of using educational methods and resources for the ultimate goal of facilitating the learning process. Hence, learning Educational Technology is really important especially for us future educators so that we can facilitate learning more easily and effectively.
